Andersen Welcomes Max Pakaluk as a Managing Director in the US National Tax Practice

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Andersen welcomes Managing Director Max Pakaluk to the US National Tax (USNT) practice in Washington, D.C. Max has over 10 years of experience in areas involving pass-through entities and partnership transactions.

“Max brings extensive experience in partnerships and pass-through entities as well as proposed laws, regulations, and guidance relating to partnership taxation. Max will add value to our USNT team by working with our clients in this important area,” commented Ellen MacNeil, Managing Director of Andersen US National Tax.

Before joining Andersen, Max was a tax law specialist at Internal Revenue Service and Senior Manager at EY in the national partnership group. He also previously worked at Ropes & Gray.

Max received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from Harvard College and his Juris Doctor degree from Harvard Law School. He currently teaches taxation of private equity and hedge funds at the Georgetown University Law Center in their LLM program.
